Kindness can change the world

Just because Valentine’s Day is over, doesn’t mean the month of love has to stop there. Today we celebrate Random Act of Kindness Day, and what better way to spread some love than showing kindness to others.

Random acts of kindness can be anything from helping someone to carry groceries to their car, buying someone a loaf of bread, or even volunteering to help out at an orphanage. Acts of kindness come in all shapes, sizes and forms. It doesn’t have to be an elaborate or a grandiose gesture, often the only thing you need to give of is your time.
Here at King Price we feel that even the smallest gesture of kindness has the power to change the world. You might wonder how one act of kindness could change the world, and in all honesty, it won’t. You won’t change the whole entire world, but you could just possibly change someone’s world.
Your time and effort is the most valuable thing you can share with someone. By spending time with people, you create human connections and a sense of community. In a busy, mostly virtually connected world, creating a tangible sense of community is very important. What better way of creating a community, than being kind? And kindness never cost anyone a cent.
And yes there might be a designated day for random acts of kindness, but it doesn’t mean it can only be done on that day. It is, after all, supposed to be ‘random’. Instead of limiting your ‘good deeds’ to 1 or 2 days a year, rather make it a lifestyle and try and do something that will better someone’s life, everyday.
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” Aesop
