Whether you’re driving your dream car, or your mom’s hand-me-down old skedonk, you still need to make sure you are covered in the event of an accident, fire or theft.
“Who cares about any damage to that old rust bucket?” You may ask, and you may even go further to say, “If that old jalopy does ever get written off, I’ll just gut it and use it as a house for my snakes.”
While we’d like to commend you on your creativity, and rather frightening choice of pet, we’d also like to point out that car insurance is not just to protect your own car in the event of an accident, but also the damage that your car may do to someone else’s car or property.
So, while you don’t have to sign up with the same 5-star insurance deal that Mr. Dream Car has, you should still look into the other car insurance alternatives offered by King Price.
Comprehensive cover: Our 5-star deal
The full, comprehensive package that covers your car for accidental damage, theft or hi-jacking… As well as any damage that you accidentally caused to other parties and/or their property as a result of an accident.
This is the one for you, Mr. Dream Car, so you can keep your baby in pristine condition and you sleeping peacefully at night.
Third party, fire and theft cover: Our 4-star deal
This option covers you for theft and hi-jacking as well as for liability for injury to other people and damage to their property as a result of an accident. If you were in a car accident you should contact motor vehicle injury lawyers. Remember though, that this type of cover does not cover accidental damage to your own car.
Third party only cover: Our 3-star deal
With third party only insurance, you’re covered for liability for injury to other people or damage to their property as a result of an accident.
So that means that even if your old car is destined to become a snake-filled skedonk, you’ll still be covered for any damage you accidentally cause to others while driving.
So whether you’re driving around in your pride and joy, or whether you’re just getting from A to B in a car destined for the scrap heap, remember:
Some cover is way better than none at all!
