So, you've referred someone to King Price... Now what?

What needs to happen first

To qualify for your R1,000 cash payout:
  • Your friend must take out a King Price policy with a monthly premium of at least R650.
  • Your own policy must be active, and all your premiums must be fully paid and up to date when we process the payment.

When you’ll get your cash

We’ll pay R1,000 into your account once:
  • The friend you referred has paid their first full premium.
  • 30 days have passed since that payment.

Please note

  • 1 x successful referral = R1,000 in cash. Ka-ching!
  • You can refer as many friends as you like!
  • You can’t refer the same person more than once.
  • This offer is for King Price clients only.
  • According to the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act No. 37 of 2002 (FAIS), only authorised Financial Services Providers (FSPs), accredited persons, or mandated FSP representatives can give financial advice or offer intermediary services. So, unless that’s you, keep it casual and just refer your friend, don’t give financial advice.
  • It’s against the law to offer your friend any kind of incentive (think freebies, promises of biltong etc.) to become a King Price client. You’re also not allowed to make your friend feel as though they have to take out a King Price policy.
  • King Price won’t be held responsible for any unlawful actions or false info you share with someone you refer. You don’t have the authority to act on our behalf, make commitments, or promise anything about our products or services.
  • By referring a friend, you agree to all of the T’s and C’s set out here.
If things go south
We can take away your referral rights or choose not to follow up on the referrals you send through if you:
  • Keep referring people without asking for their permission.
  • Commit fraud or mislead people (or if we have good reason to believe that you have).
  • Act inappropriately (or if the law says we have to).
  • Don’t stick to our T’s and C’s.

By sending us your friend’s details, you confirm that they’ve given you permission to share their information with King Price and for King Price to call them. In terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act No. 4 of 2013, it’s your responsibility to ensure that their consent is valid and informed. King Price reserves the right to claim for any damage, harm, or loss arising from this permission not having been granted.
