Gideon pitched his dream to 41 investors. Forty. One. Most people tap out after 3 awkward Teams calls, but not Gideon! He knew this mission was bigger than premiums, presentations and endless pitches. And finally, on lucky number 42, he met a team who believed in it too.

Enter Mergon: A bold bunch of entrepreneurial investors with a serious heart for #MakingADifference. Inspired by Gideon’s larger-than-life dream, they took a chance on King Price. Fast-forward a few years, and that R100 million startup? Now a R9 billion industry disrupter. Just like that!
