Optional trailer contents cover

As with your home contents insurance, everything that would fall out if you were to turn your trailer upside-down, should be included under your optional trailer contents insurance cover. These contents have to belong to you or to people who live with you.

Please note: Your trailer contents must be stated separately on your King Price policy schedule, with a separate monthly premium. Otherwise, they're not covered.

Trailer contents insurance covers you for the loss of, or damage to, your and your family’s possessions that are kept within your trailer, as well as any loss of, or damage to, these possessions that’s caused by:

  • Fire.
  • Explosion.
  • Malicious damage.
  • Falling trees (but not while being felled).
  • Acts of nature such as lightning, earthquake, storm or flood.
  • Theft or break-in, but only when we can see proof of forced entry and that the damage was caused by the break-in.
