Cybersure terms & conditions

How the game works:

  • The left and right arrows move you, and you hit the space bar to shoot.
  • Capturing a Bitcoin and answering a question correctly get you 30 seconds added to the timer.
  • Shooting a crown gets you cybersure protection for 30 seconds or until you’re shot.
  • On each level, you need to score as many points as possible before you run out of time.
  • You’re allowed a maximum of 5 entries per level.
  • You need to complete all 3 levels of the game to be entered into the draw.
  • You can get a bonus entry for sharing your game on Facebook or Twitter, and a double entry for inviting Facebook friends to also play.

How the competition works:

  • The game launches on 8 October 2017 and runs until 28 February 2018.
  • King Price will draw 8 finalists randomly from all the entries, by 15 March 2018, and the finalists will be notified by email.
  • The R1 million Bitcoin prize will be shared between the top 3 players as follows: The winner gets R600,000; the runner-up gets R300,000; and second runner-up gets R100,000.
  • The prizes will be paid within 2 weeks of the final event.
  • The Rand value of a Bitcoin on the date of the final event will determine the amount of Bitcoin currency that the winners will receive.

Who can play:

  • Anyone! (Except for King Price staff, suppliers, shareholders and partners, and their families. Sorry.)
  • You must be 18 years or older and a SA citizen or permanent resident to compete for the prize.

Our end of the deal:

  • If you’re a winner, we’ll pay your prize into your Bitcoin account.

Your end of the deal:

  • By accepting our T’s and C’s (this doc) you accept that King Price can email you game updates and product-related info.
  • If you win, you need to open a Bitcoin account (if you don’t already have one) and provide us with the details.

The tough stuff:

  • King Price may change the details of the final event due to circumstances that are out of our control.
  • The judges’ decision is final and cannot be challenged.
